Bank Payments Reconciled in Xero
If a payment is made directly to your bank account, it will be reconciled in Xero (the accounting software connected to Stagepay).
Stagepay automatically updates the payment status using a webhook, ensuring your records stay up to date.
How It Works
For Card Payments:
Your customer opens the invoice and clicks on the Pay button.
They enter their card details (debit or credit) and confirm the payment.
Stagepay securely processes the payment, and the invoice status updates to Paid.
For Bank Payments (Reconciled in Xero):
Your customer pays the invoice directly to your bank account.
Xero matches the payment to the correct invoice.
Stagepay automatically updates the invoice status to Paid through the connected webhook.
