Payment Preferences in Stagepay allow you to promote card payments to your customers, streamlining the payment process and enabling faster transactions. By configuring this feature, you can enhance your payment collection process while providing a seamless experience for your customers.

Benefits of Card Payments

  • Faster Payments: Customers can pay instantly via card, ensuring quicker fund transfers.

  • Instant Notifications: Receive immediate alerts for completed payments, keeping you updated in real-time.

  3. Set Up Bank Details

Click the "Set Bank Details" button to begin the setup process.

Enter your bank details accurately to avoid payment errors. Use the text box to add payment terms, timelines, or additional notes for customers.

Promote Card Payments

To encourage customers to pay exclusively by card:

  • Enable the "Prefer Card Payments" option.

  • Selecting this will remove your bank details from invoices, ensuring customers are directed to pay via card.

This approach can significantly reduce payment delays, as customers won’t have the option to pay via traditional bank transfers.

By properly configuring Payment Preferences, you can:

  • Increase the efficiency of your payment collection process.

  • Provide customers with a convenient and secure way to pay.

  • Reduce the administrative burden associated with managing multiple payment methods.

Make sure to regularly review your Payment Preferences to ensure they align with your business goals and customer expectations.
